听课笔记

本节课来自第十五届全国高中英语教师教学基本功大赛康雪薇老师的一节高二词汇课。



教学目标

在本节课后,学生将:

1. 通过篇章、视频、图片等方式在语境中认识本单元部分新授词汇及短语,能够朗读并说出其含义,丰富其语言知识

2. 通过各种形式的词汇学习,总结出词汇学习或记忆的方法,即利用近义词、英文释义、构词法及图片等,培养其语言技能

3. 运用本节课所学单词及上个单元所学语法(定语从句)描述智能家居产品,并设计未来的智能家居,在合作与交流中培养他们的创新性思维、批判性思维等思维品质

4. 通过课前阅读学习目标和课后学习反思,引导学生养成目标意识,同时及时反思学习方式和效果,发展他们的学习策略,提升他们的学习能力

教学过程

Step 1 Lead-in

老师提出问题“How to learn new words?”

学生给出不同答案,今天继续探索这个问题。


Step 2 Presentation of vocabulary


1. 设置情境,老师对话Siri,“Hey, Siri”产出以下3句

① Siri is a smart assistant which/ that helps to solve some problems. (板书,复习定语从句,做铺垫。)

② An intelligent voice assistant is an application of Artificial Intelligence which provides services in daily routine.(呈现句子,猜测词义,呈现音形义)

③ It responds (呈现近义词,进行释义)to my voice command the instant(以单选形式释义) I call its name.

得出词汇学习方法一:近义词(synonyms)


2. 展示图片“Today I’ll share a piece of good news with you. This is my new apartment. You can see it’s still empty. So I still need to buy some furniture and appliances. What should I buy?”

产出以下2句

① The appliance and devices can be controlled remotely(英文释义)。

② A smart home is a convenient home setup where appliances can be automatically (英文释义) controlled remotely.

得出词汇学习方法二:英文释义(English meaning)

得出词汇学习方法三:图片(pictures)


3. 设置情境

T:I wanna know more about Xiaomi smart home.

Siri: I’ve found some information. Please check out.

Task 1: Read and choose the English meaning of underlined words.

由语段中一词 must-have得出词汇学习方法四:构词法(word formation)

Task 2: Read and fill in the blanks (学习新词组)


Step 3 Practice of vocabulary


1. 【Individual work】

Do you know other smart home devices?

Watch the video and focus on the functions of them.


2. 【Pair work】

Introduce one of the smart home devices.

Requirements:① Use the words and phrases we learned today as many as possible. ② Apply attributive clause to your description.


3. 【Group work】

Design a future smart home device and introduce it to the class.

Group task: S1 Draw a picture of it; S2 Introduce structure and function;S3 Introduce how to use it; S4 Perform how to use it.

    康老师的课,直接且生动地展示了词汇教学中可以使用的诸多方式:情境设置,创设故事,图片与视频启发等。在课堂中康老师对学生学习单词进行学法指导,我们可以将此传达给我们自己学生的同时,在日常教学中,也可以将诸如近义词、英文释义、图片提示、构词法等应用于词汇教学。
